No, I didn't actually "run" the race, I had the pleasure of walking the race... Robie and Sara were good sports and walked with me for 3/4th of it and then they decided it was getting too cold so they ran the last little bit of it:) Thanks for the fun walk though!!!

COSTCO GIRLS BABY SHOWER

My good friend Andra threw me my first baby shower for all of our Costco friends! She did such a good job with everything and made it look so cute! Thanks Andra, you're the best!!!!

SINNERS...

A couple Sundays ago, after church of course... that's even worse... We went on a drive downtown Salt Lake City to look at the older part of the city. I love old homes, I mean really old! There is just so much unknown history that is there and it's so fun to imagine what went on at that time! Well, then we got a little hungry so we went to the brunch at Grand America! I think we literally ate for two hours straight! Yum! It wasn't like we were stuffing our faces we just totally took our time eating and talking, it was so nice!!! Thanks sweetheart! I love you!

CATCHING UP...

Shane and my cousin Jeff started framing our deck on the back of our house! I can't wait until it's toatlly finished and we can actually use it! Good job boys!

My sweet friend Andra threw a wig party right before Holloween... What a great idea! We all had such a good time! You're the best party thrower ever!!!

Um, I think someone named Carly forgot that this was a WIG party :) We still love you though!


Shane and I went deer hunting but all we saw were Elk! It was perfect weather and we had such good time just being up in the mountains doing our thang... Oh and i'm pretty sure we hiked like 20 miles in 2 days, it felt great! We saw the biggest bull elk ever it was stunning. We also saw a big heard of cow elk that were looking for the bull elk. I had never seen elk this close before and so many of them, it was very cool! Thanks for taking me with you babe!!!

On the 4th of July we went over to our friend's house and had a BBQ! Shane played in a little tennis match with Lisa which was fun to watch cause shane has got some powerful hits as well as this funky spin he likes to put on the ball that makes it impossible to hit back...

WOW, I HAVE TOTALLY SLACKED ON POSTING FOR A WHOLE MONTH... SORRY FELLOW BLOGGERS ;) HERE ARE A FEW POSTS TO CATCH YOU UP ON WHAT THE SPEAKMAN'S HAVE BEEN FILLING THEIR PRECIOUS TIME WITH! MORE TO COME LATA....

Shane and I went to Park city for our Anniversary... We stayed at some Marriot right on the mountain. It was AWESOME!!! Thanks babe.. We went to a little Mexican restaurant the first night and thought it would be fun to take a picture with these fun sombreros:) The second night we went to this newer restaurant called "Easy Street". It was such a cool place to eat. On Saturdays they have live music, so just being outside under the umbrellas with the soothing water feature in the background is absoutely wonderful. They have great food too!!!

LAKE POWELL 08' On our way down to Powell our friend's car's transmission went out so they had to drive back to Beaver then wait as 3 more cars of people drove through and each time a different car drove through we send another person or two with them until everyone made it to Powell. Luckily Brandon and Angela drove down with their SUV and were able to hitch up the boat to bring it the rest of the way. Our friends still don't have thier car back but are working on it...Crazy, crazy crazy!!!


These two are actually from Utah Lake which is so different than Powell... I much prefer Lake powell any day!!!

CUTE COUSIN SAM CAME TO VISIT! I thought this was so cute... Sam took shane's hat, put it on and then climbed on his shoulders... Shane is so great with little kidos, I can't wait for our own!!!
Wow... I looked worked. Oh well, not all pictures turn out great :)

Lucas was totally into Indiana Jones this year so everything he got was Indiana Jones... He was so excited to open all his presents. I love the excitement in children, it makes me so happy :)

Sarah and Robies little puppy that she just got... I can't remember what kind it was but it was so small... His eyes matched Sarah's and I thought it looked so cool.
